Brake Case Study
Engineered Lifting Systems had to change a brake on a
vertical lift bridge. This is an excellent example of what
we can do for any bridge that needs new brakes. The old
brake was worn and even had a bungee cord around it to keep
the brake working. Shown below are a few pictures
illustrating the old brake setup.
 DESCRIBE BRAKE PROBLEM. Shown below is the new brake shown
after it was installed into the bridge system.
 The vertical lift bridge with the new brake worked out very
well and the customer has been very happy with it since.
